The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) recently released nine lists of pesticides that entered the registration review program and was included in the initial work plan. Most of the pesticide product review will be completed in 2016, but the cumulative risk assessment of pyrethroids and salts will have an impact on the completion time of the review. The EPA plans to complete the evaluation of fluvalinate in 2018, but if the applicant for registration can submit its study data on neurodevelopmental toxicity in advance, the review time will be shortened by 2 years.
Pesticides included in the review include: pyrethroid insecticides such as super-efficient lambda cyhalothrin, high-efficiency cyhalothrin, and fluvalinate; **** salt insecticide/acaricide Formetanate-HCl; insecticide/killer Herbicides adjuvant synergistic ether; herbicides chloransulam-methyl, chlorimuron-ethyl, amisulillin and amphetamine; plant growth regulator chlorpheniramine.
