Bearing Industry "Twelfth Five-Year" Emphasis on Strengthening R&D Industrialization

From November 18 to 20, 2010, the National Economic Analysis Conference on Bearing Industry 2010 and Statistical Information Work Conference was held in Luoyang City, Henan Province. 41 representatives of responsible companies and 37 general statisticians of the 37 major enterprises in the bearing industry attended the meeting. At the meeting, Wang Quanqing, secretary general of the China Bearing Industry Association, made a speech entitled "Efforts to Make Statistical Information Work an Industry Development Service." Secretary General Wang emphasized several points in his speech:

(a) The current economic situation in the industry is very good, and great achievements have been made in overcoming the economic crisis. The whole industry has basically gone out of the shadow of the international financial crisis. The annual revenue of key businesses of the industry is expected to grow by more than 30% year-on-year, and the whole industry's annual export is expected to increase by more than 45% year-on-year. In addition, the “Twelfth Five-Year Plan” starting next year will make the industry face both an important strategic opportunity and many challenges that can be predicted and unpredictable risks. Therefore, we must focus on transforming the main mode of development. Good work for next year will be devoted to scientific and technological innovation, seize opportunities, and meet challenges. The bearing industry occupies an important position in the "Twelfth Five-Year Plan". Recently, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology released the implementation plan for the “Industrial Revitalization of Mechanical Basic Components Industry”. Bearings were ranked first in basic components, and bearing products of seven projects were included in the implementation plan for 2011-2013. We must concentrate our energy on R&D and industrialization, and strive to make breakthroughs during the 12th Five-Year Plan period.

(b) We must attach great importance to economic operation analysis and statistical information work. The analysis of economic operation is an important means for business leaders to make operational decisions, and statistical information is an important basis for business leaders to accurately grasp market trends in response to market changes.

(3) Strengthen the team building. Under the current objective conditions of large fluctuations in the statistical workforce of enterprises, it is necessary to maintain the basic stability of the team and the continuity of the business. Regardless of how the personnel change, the contact channels with the association must be unblocked, and it is necessary to do a good job in the business construction of the statistical team. Only in this way can the continuity and accuracy of information be guaranteed.

Next, Deputy Secretary-General Niu Hui made a more detailed analysis and elaboration on the development of the bearing industry in the first three quarters of the year, the development forecast for the whole year, and the outlook for the development of the next year. The speech is divided into six parts:

I. Overview of the National Industrial Economic Operation in the First Three Quarters

In the first three quarters, the added value of industries above designated size increased by 16.3% year-on-year, and the growth rate was 7.6 percentage points higher than the same period of last year. The growth rate was 19.6% in the first quarter, 15.9% in the second quarter, and 13.5% in the third quarter, with 7, 8, and 3 in the first three quarters. The monthly growth rate was 13.4%, 13.9% and 13.3% respectively. Considering the influence of the base number in the same period of last year, the operating situation has stabilized.

Second, the first three quarters of machinery industry overview

In the first three quarters of this year, the economic situation of the machinery industry was relatively good. Overall, the growth rate fell month by month, but after the second half of the year, the rate of decline has slowed down significantly, and the industry's economic operating speed has returned to a stable level.

III. Analysis of production and operation of major enterprises in the bearing industry in the first three quarters

With the encouragement of continued national policies, gradual economic recovery, and gradual recovery of the international economy, the bearing industry continued to thrive in the first half of 2010, particularly in the areas of automobiles, agricultural machinery, household appliances, wind power, and construction machinery. Bearing products in the supporting industries have experienced a year-on-year increase, which is better than in the same period of 2008, but the cumulative year-on-year decline has shown signs of decline; exports have also rebounded sharply, exceeding the level for the same period in 2008.

Fourth, the first three quarters of the import and export analysis

From January to September, China has altogether exported 3 billion sets of bearings, earned foreign exchange of 2.353 billion U.S. dollars, accumulated 1.329 billion sets of imported bearings, used 2.589 billion U.S. dollars of exchanges, and had a total import and export deficit of 455 million U.S. dollars. Although exports have increased significantly, they are still larger than the import deficit.

Exports have resumed and exceeded the 2008 level. Imported bearings are still developing toward Gaorui. The composition of export products has been slightly adjusted. The composition of imported products has been adjusted with the development of Gao Rui's equipment in China.

V. Bearing Industry Development Forecast for the Whole Year This Year

There are still three months to the end of the year. Based on the following reasons, we are optimistic about the development of the bearing industry this year:

1. The trend of the country's industrial economic operation has changed from a rebound to a stable growth.

2. The year-by-year growth of the national machinery industry is expected to achieve a double-digit growth over the previous year. The probability of a sharp decline in the growth rate is small.

3. The rapid growth of the bearing industry in January and September has laid a good foundation for rapid growth throughout the year.

4. At present, most companies have more orders and can basically meet the production demand for this year.

Therefore, combining the statistical analysis of major companies in the industry and the analysis of customs data from January-September, it is expected that in 2010, the main business revenue of the entire industry will exceed the one-hundred-twenty billion yuan mark, reaching 120 billion yuan, and the growth rate will reach 30%. Bearings With the increase in the output of small-sized bearings driven by automobiles, agricultural machinery, and home appliances, it is estimated that the annual bearing output will reach 15 billion sets. Bearing exports will reach about 4 billion units, and the year-on-year increase will reach 48.2%. The foreign exchange earnings from exports will reach about 3.1 billion U.S. dollars, and the year-on-year increase will reach about 50%. The number of imported bearings will also reach about 1.8 billion units, an increase of 30% year-on-year. The import exchange will reach about 3.7 billion U.S. dollars, an increase of about 30% year-on-year, and the import and export deficit may reach 600 million U.S. dollars.

Sixth, bearing industry development outlook next year

According to the spirit of the Fifth Plenary Session of the 17th CPC Central Committee, we believe that the bearing industry will maintain stable development next year. The favorable factors are as follows:

1. A report completed by the Research Group on Economic Situation Analysis of the Development Research Center of the State Council recently concluded that in 2010 China's economic operation had successfully shaken off the negative impact of the international financial crisis and began to enter the regular growth track. Price increases stabilized and annual economic growth is expected. About 10%. It is expected that the annual economic growth in 2011 can be maintained at around 9%.

2. During the “Twelfth Five-Year Plan” period, the steady and rapid development of the national economy will further promote the development of the bearing industry in China;

3. The rapid development of the bearing industry this year has also laid a good foundation for the steady development of the next year.

4. From the strength of bearing exports this year, we can see that through the rapid development of the bearing industry in recent years, the technical level of our micro-bearings has approached the international level, coupled with our ever-increasing market competitiveness, we have become The world's largest manufacturing base for miniature bearings, with the development of the international economy, the export of micro bearings will further increase.

At the meeting, the representatives of Waxshaft, Hajikshaft, Luoyang LYC, Fuzhou Shaft, Daye Axis, and Wuxi Huayang made speeches according to the actual situation of their respective companies. In response to the lively discussions between the representatives of Secretary-General Wang Quanqing and Deputy Secretary-General Niu Hui, the delegates introduced the characteristics and current status of their own companies. The delegates considered that the meeting was very important and timely, which not only broadened their horizons, but also Strengthened communication with the industry, the meeting achieved its intended purpose.
