On October 16, the establishment of the Expert Technical Committee of the National Special Pump Valve Engineering Technology Research Center sponsored by the National Engineering Research Center for Special Pump Valves and co-organized by Beijing Aerospace Power Research Institute (referred to as Beijing Aerospace 11) was held in Beijing.
Zhang Nan, director of the Beijing Aerospace Power Research Institute, introduced the establishment of an expert technical committee to improve R&D, external services, and industrialization organizations. At the same time, he widely absorbed the expertise of pump valve centers and domestic and foreign counterparts and scholars to build high-end academic and technology. The exchange platform leads the technical progress of the pump valve industry and accelerates the localization of pump valves. The expert technical committee consists of 25 domestic experts including academicians of the two academies and eight foreign experts.
It is understood that since the transfer of military forces to civilians in 1984, Beijing Aerospace 11 has applied aerospace technology to national economy-oriented industries such as petrochemicals and coal chemicals, and has cooperated with PetroChina and Sinopec to provide a number of major petrochemical projects at home and abroad. In 2007, Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Sinopec, and Beijing Aerospace 11 also signed contracts for ethylene energy-saving renovation and gas-to-gas reform with subsidiaries of PetroChina.
Since its establishment in 1992, the National Engineering Research Center for Special Pump Valves has relied on Beijing Aerospace 11 and Beijing Aerospace Petrochemical Technology and Equipment Engineering Company for the industrialization base, and the valve valve center appraising and accreditation bodies and type testing institutions as its service platform. The work of relying on units, industrial companies, and valve and valve centers to infiltrate each other, support each other, and operate independently is carried out.
