On November 24th, farmers managed vegetables in a thin film solar eco-agriculture greenhouse in Pudong Town, Jimo City.
In Pudong Town, Jimo City, Shandong Province, the company invested more than 20 million yuan, built 6 photovoltaic eco-agriculture greenhouses, installed thin-film solar panels on roofs, and introduced red light for vegetable growth into greenhouses. The shed has a built-in LED nano-fill light system, which can provide enough light for vegetables when there is not enough sunshine such as rain and night, thus shortening the growth cycle of vegetables and increasing the yield and quality of vegetables. It is reported that each shed is equivalent to a 200 kilowatt power station, which can generate 280,000 kWh per year and benefit 300,000 yuan. Each shed covers an area of ​​7 mu. The profit of shed crops is calculated at 25,000 yuan per acre, and the annual agricultural income can reach 175,000 yuan, which is significantly higher than the conventional model of greenhouse cultivation.
