For example, if our rod temperature is not enough, then the alloy cannot reach the solution treatment temperature during extrusion, and it cannot be ensured that the reinforcement Mg2Si is completely dissolved into the aluminum matrix and thus cannot be strengthened; if our rod The temperature is too high, then in the extrusion process, due to high temperatures not only will destroy the alloy structure, but also often appear to tear, poor surface quality and other issues.

For example, if our cooling effect is not good, the alloy can not be rapidly cooled after the solution treatment, then the strengthening phase Mg2Si dissolved in the aluminum matrix can not be stably retained in the matrix, with the decrease of temperature, Mg2Si in the matrix As the solubility decreases, it slowly precipitates, so that its mechanical properties cannot be guaranteed after aging. However, if the solution is cooled rapidly during the solution treatment, the reinforcement will not be able to precipitate and will remain in the matrix so that it can be strengthened after aging. Therefore, the control of temperature and other processes is the key.

In the actual production process, the process parameters should be flexibly adjusted according to the cross-section of the profile. For example, some thicker profiles should be properly increased in bar temperature, slow down the extrusion speed, increase the cooling rate, etc. in order to ensure that they are oversaturated. Solid solution.

The correct aging process is a guarantee of good mechanical properties
