According to incomplete statistics, pneumoconiosis accounts for about two-thirds of the total number of occupational diseases. In recent years, there have been a number of pneumoconiosis diseases in Hui'an. These people have all done sand and rock carvings in Yunfu, Guangdong Province. The cause is inhalation of excessive sand and rock dust. The 72-year-old Wang Yinquan entered the stone carving factory around the age of 20, and he was 65 years old to find dust.

Wang hangs medicines that are taken year-round on the silver wall. The old man was transferred to several hospitals for treatment. The condition has not yet improved. The elderly can only sustain life by breathing oxygen.

Compared with Wang Zaiyin, Chen Shijie, born in 1983, was fortunate in his misfortune. After identifying the source of illness a few years ago, his family raised 770,000 yuan last year and sent him to a Jiangsu hospital for "lung transplant" surgery. Now his body has gradually recovered. On February 25, 2016, the State Administration of Safety Supervision issued a news release saying that from March 2016 to the end of 2017, special efforts will be made to prevent dust hazards in ceramics production and refractories manufacturing in order to control, reduce and eliminate related hazards. Dust-prevention lung disease occurs and workers' occupational health rights are protected.
