Proper Wearing Method
To wear a gas mask correctly, start by choosing the right size that fits your head. Adjust the middle and upper headbands to comfortable positions before putting on the mask. Loosen the headband, then hold the sides of the mask with both hands. Take a deep breath, close your eyes, and place the mask over your face, ensuring the chin is properly covered. Push the mask forward and secure the top strap firmly. Then, pull the headband up from the bottom and tighten it so that the mask forms a tight seal against your face. Finally, take a deep breath and open your eyes to confirm the fit.

To check the airtightness of the mask, use both hands to cover the air inlet and outlet valves. Then take a breath. If the mask presses tightly against your face without any air leakage, it is properly sealed. If not, adjust the position until a secure seal is achieved. This step is crucial for ensuring the mask works effectively in hazardous environments.

When wearing the mask, be careful not to let your hair or the headband get caught in the mask frame. Also, avoid bending the mask’s headband claws into the mask itself. It's important to shave your beard clean before putting on the mask, as facial hair can interfere with the seal and reduce effectiveness.

Use and Maintenance:
1. When using the mask, start by placing it over your chin and adjusting the headband for a secure fit. After putting it on, press your palm against the filter cartridge’s air intake and inhale. If the mask stays snug against your face without air leaks, it is properly sealed and safe to use in dangerous areas.
2. After each use, wipe off any sweat or dirt, especially around the lenses and the exhalation valve. Keep the inhalation valve clean. If needed, rinse the mask with water and clean the filter box thoroughly.
3. In environments where viruses are present, you can disinfect the mask and filter box using 1% peracetic acid. However, do not soak the filter box in liquid, as this could damage it. After disinfection, rinse the mask with clean water and allow it to dry completely before reuse.
