Preparation before heat treatment (equipment: aluminum alloy solid solution (quenching) furnace):

Heating and insulation:

1. After heating to the set temperature, check and correct the temperature of the furnace (°C) at any time during the heat preservation period to prevent local high temperature or burning.

2. When the power is turned off after a short period of time, the castings in the insulation should be rapidly quenched. After the equipment is returned to normal, the furnace, insulation, and heat treatment are performed. The total holding time should be slightly extended.

Blast cooling:

1. After the insulation is completed, open the furnace door and lower the material basket to quickly drop the casting into the pool and quench it in the specified cooling medium.

2. The quenching transfer time refers to the time from the casting of the casting to the quenching of all the castings into the medium. The total time is better not to exceed 15 seconds.

Correction of casting deformation:

1 The deformation of the casting should be corrected immediately after quenching. The correction mold and tools should be prepared before quenching.

2 According to the characteristics of castings and deformation conditions to choose the appropriate correction method, the force should not be excessive when correcting, it should be slow and uniform.

Aging operation: (equipment: aluminum alloy aging furnace):

1. Castings requiring artificial aging shall be treated within 0.5 hours as soon as possible after quenching. The quenched baskets can be pushed directly into the aging furnace, but the product temperature must not exceed the aging temperature.

2. Set the temperature of the automatic temperature control instrument and then send it to the electric heater to turn on the fan.

3, after the holding time, disconnect the power.
