After analyzing the situation of Ms. Wang’s family, we believe that the reason for this situation is that the construction team did not consider the entire building and the actual elevation requirements after construction. Second, when Ms. Wang's house was rough, the floor of the balcony and the floor of the living room were not significantly different, and the balcony was equipped with a washing machine and a mop bucket during the renovation. When the downpipe was arranged, the ground was raised a bit. And because the construction team was trying to prevent the floor of the balcony from pouring water, the floor tiles on the living room were raised accordingly to form an effective slope for floor drains. We also noticed that the living room of Ms. Wang's house was not paved with floor tiles, but instead was made of glass tiles, which means that even if some rainwater accidentally flows into the living room, it will not cause warping deformation like solid wood flooring.
Supervision suggestions:1. There are not many floors above the living room floor to the balcony, which has limited impact on the decorative effect;
2. The floor of the living room is made of vitrified tiles, which will not cause deformation after the rain is wet.
3. The balcony floor, if rectified after resurfacing, it is difficult to form a suitable slope.Based on this, we suggest that Ms. Wang can prevent the construction team from rectifying and reworking the balcony floor, but the contractor should pay for the balcony floor tiles in the row of the living room to pay for reasonable compensation. Finally, Ms. Wang adopted our opinion and the two parties resolved the contradiction more satisfactorily.
