According to the data of China's foreign trade import and export published in the first half of 2012 released by the General Administration of Customs, the total import and export volume of China's hardware products industry in the first half of 2012 reached 49.04 billion US dollars, an increase of 11.27%. Among them, exports were 38.692 billion US dollars, up 13.96% year-on-year, and total imports were 10.348 billion US dollars, up 2.25% year-on-year. This shows that in the first half of the year, the hardware industry still maintained a relatively strong growth momentum, and the export volume and growth rate were still higher than imports. The status of China's hardware manufacturing powerhouse was further stabilized.
