During the three-month apprenticeship period, Zhao Jianguo was only used for 41 days. Zhao Jianguo, who just arrived at the job, did not feel how difficult it was to open the blade. "It is nothing more than grinding the saw blade with a grinding wheel. There is no technical content." Zhao Jianguo thought so.
However, when the master explained the cutting-edge knowledge to him, Zhao Jianguo was a bit embarrassed and realized that he was indeed a "outsider." "You can't lose the face of a soldier." Zhao Jianguo said to himself. When encountering problems at work, Zhao Jianguo asked the experienced masters to consult again and again until they understood them completely. If they didn't understand the knowledge, they would find professional books to study hard. The skills training activities organized by the company did not fall.
Soon, Zhao Jianguo's efforts have paid off: the monthly output is the first, and the product qualification rate is 100%. In 2013, he got a chance to show his skills – the group company arranged for him to specialize in processing export products.
Zhao Jianguo is a thoughtful person. At work, he found that when the top edge machine was edged for each set of products, the outermost few saw blades never met the quality requirements. Zhao Jianguo tried to improve by reducing the number of saw blades per group. Although the problem has been alleviated, the output has been affected and the problem cannot be solved fundamentally.

Hard work pays off. After repeated experiments, Zhao Jianguo understood the crux of the problem: due to the long-term wear of the slide, the operating platform was unstable, which caused the outermost saw blade to fail to meet the quality requirements.
Therefore, Zhao Jianguo proposed a plan to add optical axes and dust pads to the equipment and change the walking route of the console. When the problem is completely solved, it also improves work efficiency. The improvement plan was included in the company's innovation and reform activities and won the award for excellence.
In 2014, the little bee moved into the new factory. Combined with the fine management of “eliminating waste and reducing costs”, Zhao Jianguo also proposed to the company “improvement of product rework and repair rate”. It turns out that the grinding wheel powder that flies out during the cutting process falls onto the workbench. When the product is picked up and lowered, the bottom saw blade is always scratched. The scratched product is reworked, increasing production costs. The method of cleaning the workbench while working is “the palliative is not a cure” because the grinding wheel powder is produced as long as it is produced.
Zhao Jianguo's idea is very clever: a graphite pad is placed under each saw blade so that the saw blade is not in direct contact with the workbench, and the scratch problem of the saw blade never appears. With a production of 80,000 pieces per day, Zhao Jianguo’s proposal saves the company 63,000 yuan per year.
In 9 years, Zhao Jianguo was repeatedly awarded the title of production champion, quality model, excellent staff and outstanding party members. However, he is very modest. "The excitement of life comes from the hard sweat. I am a 'small bee'." Zhao Jianguo said.
