The glue used to repair the hang-up boat contains toluene and is toxic. It must be fitted with a gas mask containing activated carbon. Because gas masks are less breathable, they are often sweating.

After repairs, Yang Fengsheng and Wang Gang are ready to test the hang-up boat. Remove the gas mask, Yang Fengsheng wiped his sweat.

"Using gas masks to complete the repair process in the sun is the normal operation of our hull maintenance workers." Wang Gang said, "As time passed, there was a noticeable white mark on our face. The outsiders saw that I had vitiligo."

The 40-year-old Yang Fengsheng, who has 20 years of working experience, is a love-minded person, and he is especially interested in the circuit inside the hang-up boat. In 2013, he improved equipment utilization through rectification of the circuit and received good results.
