Zhengzhou Sanmao Research Institute held the 8th Ninth Workers' Congress

On the afternoon of March 24, 2014, Zhengzhou Sanmao Research Institute successfully held the 8th Ninth Workers' Congress in the lecture hall on the second floor.

Members of the leadership team of Zhengzhou Sanmao Research Institute and 56 employees attended the meeting.

The meeting heard the work report of Comrade Yang Xiaoping, Vice Chairman of the Trade Union, on behalf of the Eighth Trade Union Committee. The report focused on “building team construction”, “participating in the economic construction of the company, giving full play to the role of bridges and ties, actively promoting democratic management” and “strengthening the self-building of trade unions”. Seven aspects including “actively carrying out labor competition activities, promoting stable development of enterprises”, “enriching employees’ spare time, improving employee culture and cultivation”, “care for employees, building harmonious enterprises, undertaking social responsibility” and “financial report” were summarized. And raised hopes for the work of the 9th Trade Union Committee.

The meeting heard and reviewed the "Report on the Review of Labor Union Funds for 2011-2013" by Comrade Liu Qi, Director of the Fund Review Committee of the Eighth Trade Union Committee.

In the general election session, according to the 56 candidates recommended by the Eighth Trade Union Committee, a secret ballot was held. Li Chaojie, Yang Xiaoping, Zhang Geqi, Cao Jianfeng, Liu Xiaohua, Yang Hongjun, Sun Zhengbin and other seven comrades were elected as members of the Ninth Session.
