The first shale oil and gas production capacity project led by Sinopec, Liangping Shale Oil and Gas Exploration and Development and Capacity Construction Demonstration Zone, has recently been drilled in Liangping County, Chongqing. It is understood that Liangping shale gas resources are enriched. Since the beginning of this year, Sinopec Jianghan Oilfield has invested 1.5 billion yuan and laid 9 drilling platforms in 3 townships of Fulu, Shi'an and Zizhao. Fu Chengyu, chairman of Sinopec, said that shale gas will be the initial stage in the next five years, mainly to study how to further reduce costs and improve investment efficiency.
