Whether car alarm is malfunction or peripheral interference

In response to the problem that some of the branded car burglar alarms reported by the public have been interrupted due to interference, the Quanzhou Radio Authority recently conducted interference tests on burglar alarms of various brand cars.

Whether car alarm is malfunction or peripheral interference

Relevant technical tests show that the anti-theft alarm system uses the frequency bands of 315.000-316.000 MHz and 430.000-432.000 MHz. The radio authority’s technical personnel tested the transmission signals of the anti-theft alarm remote controllers for more than a dozen cars. Test results show that the frequency of the remote control transmitter signal is mostly concentrated in the 314.800-315.512MHz. There are mainly three types of remote controller signal transmission status, namely, regular transmission (the signal takes a certain frequency for a long time), interval transmission and pulse emission. (Only fired once). At the same time, it was found that if the status of the transmitter signal is pressed for a long time while holding down the remote controller, it will cause other burglar alarms using this frequency to fail to operate normally.

The technical staff of the Quanzhou Radio Administration Bureau analyzed that the main reason for the interference of car burglar alarms is that the frequency of use of peripheral radio transmission devices is close to that of car burglar alarms. The devices that cause interference are: indoor burglar alarms, infrared rays Anti-theft alarm, car burglar alarm itself, artificially modified car burglar alarm. The correct use of the remote control is an important part of eliminating the malfunction of the adjacent car burglar alarm. The public should use the remote control of the vehicle with a spaced emission or pulsed emission method. Do not hold the remote control for a long time.
