Distribution transformer repair

1) Before any maintenance work begins, ensure that the power switch of the preceding circuit is turned off and a "Power Off" warning sign is properly displayed. Use an electric tester to confirm that the equipment you are working on is completely de-energized before proceeding with repairs.

2) Always have at least two people present during the repair process—one person performing the maintenance and another acting as a supervisor to ensure safety and proper procedures are followed.

3) Only qualified and trained electricians who have experience with the specific power distribution system should carry out the maintenance. This ensures that all steps are performed correctly and safely.

4) Maintenance personnel must wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), such as insulated gloves, safety goggles, and non-conductive footwear. All tools used should be rated for electrical work to prevent accidents.

5) When replacing electrical components, always use parts that match the original specifications. Never substitute with unapproved or inferior components, as this can lead to malfunctions or safety hazards.

6) During the maintenance, do not alter the original wiring configuration of the power distribution system. Also, avoid removing or modifying any existing switches or electrical devices unless specifically instructed.

7) After completing the maintenance, first disconnect the power source from the distribution unit. Then, gradually restore power starting from the supply side. Once the power is restored, use a voltage detector to verify that everything is functioning correctly before fully powering up the system.

8) At the conclusion of the maintenance, remove the "Power Off" sign from the upper-level power switch and replace it with a "Power On" sign to indicate that the system is ready for use.

It is essential to follow these safety protocols strictly to protect both the personnel and the equipment. Regular training and adherence to standard operating procedures can significantly reduce the risk of electrical accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
