Recently, the Duchang Jinding Tungsten and Molybdenum Mining Project, which has invested 640 million yuan, officially started operations. This significant milestone marks a major step forward in the region's mineral resources development and economic growth.
The project is designed to process 4,500 tons of ore daily, producing approximately 2,650 tons of tungsten concentrate and 900 tons of molybdenum concentrate annually. With current market prices, the facility is expected to generate an annual revenue of around 400 million yuan, while contributing over 60 million yuan in taxes and other fees. The project also creates employment opportunities for nearly 400 local residents, supporting community development and boosting related industries in the area.
According to available data, the mine has confirmed reserves of 3,924.4 tons of tungsten and molybdenum ore, containing 345,900 tons of tungsten metal and 15,400 tons of molybdenum. With additional long-term reserves, the mine is projected to operate for more than 30 years, ensuring sustained economic benefits for the region.
