**Abstract**
Fangda Carbon recently announced on the evening of May 8 that it has received a notice from the State Intellectual Property Office regarding the "Method for Preparing Graphene from Limestone." This development marks an important step in the company's ongoing efforts to explore innovative and sustainable methods for producing advanced materials.
In addition, on January 31, Fangda Carbon also revealed that it had signed a cooperation agreement with Tsinghua University's Nuclear Energy and New Energy Technology Research Institute. The partnership aims to establish the Tsinghua University (Nuclear Research Institute) - Fangda Carbon High Temperature Gas-Cooled Core Graphite Joint Research Center.
Under the terms of the agreement, Fangda Carbon will provide a total of at least 12 million yuan in research funding over three years. This investment is intended to support the joint research initiatives and foster technological innovation in the field of nuclear graphite. Meanwhile, Tsinghua University will contribute its expertise, manpower, and technical resources to the project.
Fangda Carbon emphasized that this collaboration will help both parties leverage their respective strengths in industrialization and technology development. It is expected to enhance the overall R&D capabilities and accelerate the localization of high-temperature gas-cooled nuclear graphite, which is crucial for China’s energy sector and long-term sustainability goals.
This strategic move not only highlights Fangda Carbon’s commitment to innovation but also reflects its growing influence in the high-tech material industry. With continued investment and strong academic partnerships, the company is well-positioned to play a key role in shaping the future of advanced materials and clean energy technologies.
