Water and fertilizer management Strengthening irrigation management in late rice is important for preventing premature senescence of rice, improving premature senescence of ground temperature, controlling rice blast, and increasing yield. Plants in late rice require more water, roots require more oxygen, and water and oxygen are supplied by soil. This makes it easy to form a contradiction between water and gas in the soil. To solve this contradiction and achieve the purpose of rooting and protecting leaves, we should proceed from the following three aspects:
1. To strengthen the concrete, dredge drainage, reduce the groundwater level, and enhance the vertical permeability of the soil. Through vertical infiltration, the harmful substances such as salinity and hydrogen sulfide in the soil are drenched, and oxygen dissolved in water is brought into the lower layer of the soil to enhance the vitality of the root system.
2. To implement shallow water irrigation, intermittent irrigation should be carried out after the filling period, alternating wet and dry. The water layer is 2~3 cm, until it is naturally infiltrated, so that when the person does not get stuck, the soil does not crack, and then the water is poured.
3. To master the water stop period, the water stop period is generally about 40 days after rice heading, or 7-10 days before harvesting. For paddy fields with high groundwater levels and heavy salinity, water conservation should be the main priority, and the water stop period should be postponed appropriately to prevent soil salt return and premature aging of rice.
4. Topdressing foliar fertilizer and plant growth regulators. After rice panicles, it is not appropriate to apply nitrogen fertilizer to the rhizosphere, and the application of foliar fertilizer and plant growth regulators is an auxiliary measure to prevent premature aging of rice and late maturity. Foliar application of rare earth dihydrogen potassium and other foliar fertilizers according to the constant has the effect of promoting grouting and promoting early maturity and increasing yield. Due to the more rainy weather this year, especially during the heading period of rice, there has been continuous low temperature of rainy weather. So far, the rice is slow to grout. For a small part of the paddy field with long growth period, sowing and transplanting, it can be used in the early stage of rice filling. It is to spray 40% ethephon 400~800 times in recent days. Ethephon has the effect of accelerating rice grain filling and premature maturity. After applying ethephon, the rice is expressed as rice ear pressure ring fast, the nutrients on the leaves are rapidly transferred to the panicle, and the leaf color becomes lighter and the grain yellowing time is earlier, but it needs Note that ethephon is only a plant growth regulator.
