Spring corn fertilization

“Guang” is widely used as a high-yield crop. The yield of the corn is closely related to the soil fertility level. In the high-yield and high-efficiency fertilization measures of spring maize, the first is to widely apply organic fertilizer to improve soil fertility, generally per mu. The amount of fertilizer input should not be less than 4,000 kg.

"Stable" means that the nitrogen fertilizer should be applied to the spring corn to control the amount of topdressing. In high-yield fields with a yield of more than 500 kg, the nitrogen application per mu should be stable at 9 to 12 kg; in the middle-production field with a yield of 300-500 kg, the nitrogen application per mu should be stable at 7 to 10 kg; the low-yield field with a yield of less than 300 kg per unit. The nitrogen application per mu should be stable at 6-8 kg. At the same time, rationally adjust the application period and method to improve the nitrogen fertilizer utilization effect.

"Control" is the application of phosphate fertilizer. At present, the effect of phosphate fertilizer has been widely recognized, but the application of phosphate fertilizer should be reasonably determined and controlled according to the available phosphorus content of soil. In the high, medium and low fields of different yields, the appropriate amount of phosphate fertilizer per acre should be controlled within the range of 7 kg, 6 kg and 5 kg, respectively. Spring corn phosphate fertilizer is generally applied as base fertilizer.

“Increase” means increasing potassium fertilizer with the decrease of soil available potassium, and the area of ​​potassium deficiency is expanding. To meet the demand for potassium in corn growth, it is necessary to increase the total application of potassium fertilizer. The suitable potassium fertilizer application rate in high-yield fields is about 8 kg per mu, the middle-yield field is about 7 kg, the low-yield field is about 6 kg, and the nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium application ratio should be 1:0.5:0.6.

“Complementary” means supplementing micro-fertilizer due to improvement of corn varieties, reform of farming system and changes in fertilization structure, making the symptoms of trace element deficiency in soil more and more obvious, especially the symptoms of zinc deficiency in corn have appeared in large areas. Supplementing corn and zinc fertilizer can be applied in corn soaking, coating, etc., or 1~2 kg of zinc sulfate can be applied in corn sowing or seedling stage topdressing. It can also be used in corn special fertilizer or corn seedling stage. Spray on the surface and add zinc fertilizer to the spray.
