Reporter: I've heard a lot about you. You're not only an excellent designer, but also very good at communicating with your clients. Can you share what your secret is?
Mei Yuze: Interior design is an art that bridges architectural art and living art. It combines architecture, artistic expression, technology, and human settlements. I believe that the work must be practical, comfortable, and emotionally resonant. The key is to focus on high quality while reflecting on concepts like material use and luxury. Design comes from life. As a designer, you need a genuine passion for life to create beautiful works. More importantly, it’s essential to deeply understand your client’s habits, preferences, and tastes, so that we can shape a lifestyle that truly suits them. Design should be life-centered, which gives it real vitality.
Reporter: Do you have a favorite designer?
Mei Yuze: My favorite designer is Frank Lloyd Wright. His philosophy of organic architecture has always inspired me. He believed in harmony between buildings and their environment, which is something I strive for in my own work.
Reporter: If you weren't a designer, what would you do instead?
Mei Yuze: If I wasn’t designing, I’d probably open a wine culture-themed restaurant. Wine is not just a hobby for me—it’s a part of my daily life. Coming home and having a glass of wine has become a fixed ritual. In my restaurant, every wine would be paired with a carefully crafted dish, and the atmosphere would be designed to enhance the dining experience. Wine is my way of elevating the quality of life, and I love sharing this passion with others who appreciate it.

Reporter: Do you think men are more important than women in the family?
Mei Yuze: Both are equally important. A strong family is built on mutual respect, support, and shared responsibilities. Everyone plays a vital role in creating a warm and harmonious home.

Mei Yuze: Happiness is when my family and friends live safely, healthily, and joyfully. It's the simple moments that make life meaningful.

Mei Yuze: I’m focusing on expanding my design projects across the country. It’s an exciting time, and I’m looking forward to bringing my vision to more people.

Mei Yuze: I want to become a globally recognized designer, known for creating spaces that inspire and connect with people on a deep level.
