Reporter: I've heard a lot about you. You're not only an excellent designer but also very good at communicating with your clients. Can you share what your secret is?

Mei Yuze: Interior design is an art form that bridges architectural and living arts. It combines architecture, artistic expression, technology, and human settlements. I believe that good design must be practical, comfortable, and emotionally resonant. It should reflect the user’s lifestyle and preferences while maintaining high quality. Through thoughtful material choices and a clear concept of luxury, we can create spaces that truly connect with people. Design comes from life, so as a designer, I always try to maintain a positive and curious attitude toward life. Understanding my clients' habits, tastes, and needs is key to creating a meaningful lifestyle for them. At the end of the day, design should be life-oriented, which gives it real vitality and value.

Reporter: Do you have a favorite designer?

Mei Yuze: My favorite designer is Frank Lloyd Wright. His philosophy of organic architecture has deeply influenced my approach to space and nature.

Reporter: If you weren't a designer, what would you do?

Mei Yuze: If I weren’t in design, I’d probably open a wine culture-themed restaurant. Wine is more than just a hobby—it's a part of my daily life. Coming home and enjoying a glass of wine has become a fixed ritual for me. The restaurant I imagine would pair each wine with a unique cuisine and create a warm, inviting atmosphere where people can savor both food and conversation. For me, wine is a way to elevate the experience of life, and I love sharing this passion with others who appreciate the culture around it.
