WalterCut large cutting depth cuts X-plate double precision internal cooling cutting speed by nearly 50%

A new highlight of the new Walter Cut cut-off X-plate G2042..NP is the dual-precision internal cooling: the coolant flows through the inside of the X-bar and flows directly over the rake face and the rear X-face of the cutting area. The advantages of this system: the X wear can be significantly reduced, the chip breaking performance is better, and the cutting parameters can be higher.

When machining stainless steel, steel and superalloys, double precision internal cooling can increase the life of the X by nearly 200%. Or in the case of the same X life, the cutting speed can be increased by nearly 50%.

The highlight of the new system is the installation design of the inner cooling channel: without any assembly tools, the coolant can be reliably input through both sides of the X board without any contour interference on the outside of the X board! Walter has applied for a patent for this application.

The Walter Cut cut-off X-plate G2042..NP can be used for grooving and cutting operations of almost all lathe types. Coolant pressures from 10 bar to 80 bar can be used. In addition, since the X board adopts a center structure, it is highly versatile.
